Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Lunic (the “App”, “we”, “us”) processes information when you use the Lunic virtual pet mobile application.
We aim to use only the information needed to operate the App, save progress, provide authentication, support purchases, respond to support requests, and keep the service safe.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please stop using the App.
2. Information we may process
Account data: user ID, email address, display name, sign-in provider and login timestamps when you use Google, Apple or email sign-in.
Guest and local app data: guest identifier, selected pet, pet progress, game achievements, settings, language preference, pinned pet state, reminders and premium status.
Purchase data: entitlement type, plan ID, subscription or purchase status, access start and end dates, catalog information and technical Google Play Billing response codes. We do not receive or store payment card details.
Support data: messages you send to support, thread status, user ID, timestamps and support replies.
Technical data: app version, platform, interface language, diagnostic error messages and data required for Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, notifications and network connectivity.
3. How we use information
to create, sign in to and restore accounts;
to save pet progress, preferences and premium access;
to verify and restore purchases and subscriptions;
to show care reminders, subscription reminders and the pinned pet overlay when you enable those features;
to respond to support requests;
to prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors and maintain the App.
4. Android permissions
Internet access is used for authentication, synchronization, support and purchase verification.
Notifications are used for care and subscription reminders if you grant notification permission.
Display over other apps is used only for the user-enabled pinned virtual pet feature. The pinned pet overlay is optional and can be enabled or disabled by the user at any time in the App settings.
Foreground service is used to keep the visible pinned pet overlay active, together with a persistent notification, while the feature is enabled.
Run after reboot is used to restore reminders and pinned-pet state that the user previously enabled.

6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data and we do not use the Android Advertising ID.
We may share data with service providers only as needed to operate the App: authentication, storage, payments, support, diagnostics and legal compliance.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, to secure the App, or to investigate abuse.
7. Retention
Local data is stored on your device using DataStore, SharedPreferences and WebView local storage.
Account and support data may be stored in Firebase/Firestore and Lunic server infrastructure for as long as needed to operate your account, provide support, restore purchases and meet legal obligations.
Uninstalling the App may remove local data, but it does not always delete information stored on servers, with Google Play, the App Store, or sign-in providers.
8. Security
We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards, including Firebase security features, Firestore access rules, access limitation and standard platform protections.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee protection against every possible risk.
9. User rights and deletion
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of account-related data through the support chat in App settings or by emailing lunicoworld@gmail.com.
After a deletion request, we will delete or anonymize account data within a reasonable time, except information we must keep for security, support, payment records, purchase restoration or legal compliance.
Subscriptions, cancellations and refunds are managed through Google Play or the App Store. Deleting the App or your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
10. Children and family audience
Lunic is intended for a general audience and may be used by children only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We do not seek to knowingly collect unnecessary personal data from children. Sign-in, purchases and subscriptions should be completed by the store account holder or with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or legal guardian may contact us to request deletion of a child’s data if they believe it was provided without appropriate consent.
11. International processing
Service providers such as Google/Firebase and payment platforms may process data on servers in different countries. By using the App, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when features, laws or platform requirements change. The current version will be available in the App and/or through the link provided in Google Play.

Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern access to the Lunic mobile application. By using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Service description
Lunic provides an interactive virtual pet experience, including care actions, games, growth, collections, reminders, a user-enabled pinned pet overlay and optional premium features.
3. Account and security
You are responsible for access to your device, app-store account and sign-in account.
We may restrict access to features if use violates these Terms, interferes with the service, or creates risk for other users.
4. Paid features, subscriptions and refunds
Paid features, subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play, the App Store or another official store platform.
Payment, auto-renewal, cancellation and refund terms are governed by the applicable store platform.
Deleting the App or your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription; you must manage subscriptions in your store account.
5. Virtual items and progress
Pets, items, rewards, leaves, progress and other virtual elements have no cash value outside the App and cannot be exchanged for money.
Technical issues, device changes, local data deletion or pet changes may affect availability of some progress.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with the App, bypass limitations, use unauthorized modifications, attack services, or send unlawful, harmful or abusive content to support.
7. Limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is”. We work to keep it stable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, retain all local progress, or work on every device.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, third-party service outages, or actions of app-store platforms.
8. Changes
We may update the App, features, prices and these Terms. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the updated terms.
